How to Get a Library Card
You can use your Cathlamet library card to borrow books, magazines, DVDs, ebooks and online magazines and audiobooks.
Items checked out of the library have different checkout periods so some items may be due earlier than others. When you check items out, they will be stamped with the due date. Items can be renewed by phone during library hours, online in the catalog/my account, or in person.
Eligibility
Cathlamet Library cards are available at no charge to anyone living in or owning property in Wahkiakum County; taxes and support dollars from the Town and the County go towards the Library's annual operating budget.
Non-Resident Cards
Customers not eligible for a free library card may purchase a library card.

Adult $15.00
Youth 6.00
(through age 17)
Family: 23.00
Reciprocal Borrowing Agreements
Cathlamet Library customers can borrow books from Longview Public Library provided they are willing to pick up and return them. Borrower slips can be picked up and signed at the Cathlamet Library front desk. The library also has reciprocal agreements with the Timberland Library District and Fort Vancouver Library District - Cathlamet town residents ONLY can apply for a free library card at those locations-some checkout restrictions may apply.
