Leslie Billington (Position 1, expires 12/31/2024)

Leslie moved to Cathamet from California and is interested in the Arts, Children's books, and getting children involved with reading and art.

 Rose Rendler (Position 2 open, expires 12/31/2021) – I was born and raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I am married to Bob Rendler, have three children, twins Rob and Cheri and son John, and two grandchildren, Tessa and Tristen.  My husband and I lived and raised our children in California.  In addition to being a homemaker, I worked in the medical field.  Upon retirement my husband and I moved to Cathlamet in 1995.  I have been active in the community as a Library and Community Center Volunteer and I currently serve as a board member on our Cathlamet Public Library Board.   I enjoy reading, hiking, the ocean, travel, and most of all visits and outings with family.

Audrey Hedman (Position #3, expires 12/31/2023)

I grew up in Spokane, Washington, graduated from EWU and did graduate studies at WSC.   In August of 1965 my husband, Cleave Hedman, and I moved to Cathlamet to secure teaching positions.  Our children Mary McLaughlin and son Arthur Hedman were raised here.  I am a retired primary teacher, having taught for 33 years. 24 of those years were in Cathlamet.  I enjoy the beauty of nature, family time, reading, gardening, quilting, and other crafts.


  Jean Beerbower (Position 4, expires 12/31/2025)

Jean and her husband Neil moved to Cathlamet in 1988 from Elma, Washngton. She has been a community services volunteer for numerous years doing such jobs as Teacher's Aide, Reading Tutor, Clothing Bank Volunteer and Library Volunteer. In 1988 She became involved in the Wahkiakum County Fair, first raising and showing lovebirds there, and since then as the Exotic Barn Superintendent. Neil and Jean have a son, daughter-in-law and three grandsons.

Robin Westphall (Position 5, expires 12/31/2022) Robin is a life-long lover of books and learning. She was a ublic education teacher in California for 26 years and retired in 2012. She then moved to Humboldt County in northern California to help h er daughter and son-in-law with their organic farm. She moved to Cathlamet in December 2013. Currently she is the Garden Educator for Wendt Elementary, School Board Director, as well as the Bookstore Manager and Archivist for Friends of Skamokawa. In addition to loving to read, Robin enjoys travel, film, the arts, and being in nature.
